An incredibly versatile group!
Kit Reid has led his band and orchestras in the
Houston area for many years. You can have the songs
and musical styles you want, because his bands can
play at all. The considerably large repertoire includes
top 40, rock, big band swing, classic rock & roll,
Dixieland jazz, nostalgic ballads, society two-beat,
country and western, Motown, rhythm & blues, and
ethnic songs.
What makes Kit's ensembles unique is his ability
to size the music to your occasion. If you need
a four piece band for a party, or a 14 piece orchestra
to fill a ballroom he can fill the bill. From casual
to coat and tie, to full tuxedo can adapt
to the style of your event.
About Kit
After receiving his degree in music from Sam Houston
State University, Kit joined the Woody Herman Orchestra,
where he was a featured soloist.
In addition to leading The Kit Reid Ensembles, Kit
has backed up acts of many well-known artists, such
as Bob Hope, Sammy Davis Jr., Debbie Reynolds, Mitzi
Gaynor, Dionne Warwick and many. many more.
